LA46 - Filmfest: A review
Whenever I take my seat, I realise once again how much I love watching films on the big screen.
Why do I only ever notice this when I'm at the cinema?
The three days of the LA46 Film Festival were a wonderful reminder of this.
The films were divided into groups, so you could enjoy several short films with one ticket.
The great diversity of the films submitted was amazing and refreshing.
And a big thank you to Patrick Meyer, the host of this film festival. With a great deal of understanding and love for cinema, he moderated the film festival and made it a very warm and welcoming event.
Some films are simply made for the big screen; they only unfold their full effect in the flickering light of a dark cinema.
Some actors are simply made for the big screen, their faces large enough to dominate the image
(Kilian Funke, I'm looking at you!).
I bow to your achievement, Psychosoma team!
What a great film (especially on the big screen).
